Submissions

We're a small publishing house and can't offer much in the way of marketing or promotional assistance. Not yet, anyway. If we do decide to go ahead, the author will have to undertake much of this effort themselves. However, we are not a vanity publishing company. We will not ask writers to contribute to cover design or production. Also, we focus on fictional crime, and won't touch any other genre. And don't even consider using AI to write your book.

We're looking for fresh approaches to crime writing. At least as far as characterisation and plot are concerned. We know there will probably be a few typos, but we don't have the resources to sort out bad grammar and spelling. 

It may sound harsh, but we're not interested in you as a person. If you were really famous/ notorious/ amazingly interesting, one of the big boys would have snapped you up and hired a ghost writer if necessary. It'll be a different story if we think about signing you up.  All we need now is a one page synopsis (single spaced is fine) and the whole manuscript double-spaced. None of this first 3,000 words nonsense. We only accept online submissions so please send the synopsis and manuscript as attachments to info@froghallbooks.com.
